Semi-Intensive English Plus Course
The 24-lesson per week Semi-Intensive Plus Course at AGE is designed to promote communicative competence in English and consists of Sections A (9:00 – 10:40) and B (11:00 – 12:40) Monday through Friday, and Section C (1:40 – 3:20) on Tuesday and Thursday. Section A is Grammar Structure & Usage and focuses not only on teaching students the rules for grammar usage, but also on giving students the opportunity to practice using grammar in both speaking and writing. Section B is Conversation, Listening, Vocabulary, and Pronunciation. Section C meets on Tuesday and Thursday. Beginner students study Reading and Writing, while students who are intermediate or advanced can choose an elective on Tuesday and Thursday.

Teaching Methods
All AGE Instructors:
- give students practice speaking in English and listening to and understanding English spoken by native speakers.
- teach students the rules for grammar usage through communicative teaching methods.
- provide students with feedback and special exercises to help improve pronunciation
- give students practice speaking in English and listening to and understanding English spoken by native speakers.
- expose students to more vocabulary through reading.
- provide practice using English in all types of writing.
- offer students the opportunity to practice language in areas of special interest.
